I have started using this oil, which is distilled from the seed of the plant a bit more recently. It’s main uses for physical complaints are for stomach and bowel related problems, both constipation and diarrhoea. It is also useful for menstrual problems.
Like all the culinary herbs it is listed as helping to smooth the flow of Qi in the body.
However it is for it’s psychological effects that I have been using it with a few of my clients. It is particularly good for those who have a lot of self doubt which means a goodly percentage of the population! It blends well with citrus oils such as bergamot. There is also an oil available from coriander leaf but I don’t have that in my collection at present.
Those helped by the use of this oil should also consider using the herb in their diet, both seeds and leaf can be used in a wide variety of dishes.
