Massage and aromatherapy can help with a wide range of problems but there are things it can’t do and when I think a client needs something else either in stead of or as well as Aromatherapy/Massage I will say so.
Yoga and Pilates are both disciplines that I recommend to some of my clients. There are teachers of each that are on my list that I know are good and above all safe.
There are many reasons why I might recommend one or the other but backpain is probably the most common. If my work and the history from the client suggest the back pain is primarily down to posture problems stemming from poor flexibility I will most likely recommend Yoga. If on the other hand it is largely down to poor core strength and stability I will recommend Pilates.
