Essential oils in the home.

Even if having a complete break from work, there is rarely a day that I do not use essential oils.

In the kitchen we have a hand wash made from organic washing up liquid, glycerine and essential oils. The soap we use in the bathroom has essential oils in it and the skin balm I use on my hands whenever I work on the allotment also contains essential oils.

Some like Tea Tree can be thought of as nature’s antibiotics but some are also strongly antiviral having an effect on things like the herpes zoster virus which causes chickenpox and shingles.

Another way to sue oils in the home is in a burner or even better in a vaporiser which does not risk changing the chemical composition of the oil by overheating it.
