Aromatherapy means something different to each person you meet. According to Aromatherapy.com, it is “the practice of using the natural oils extracted from flowers, bark, stems, leaves, roots or other parts of a plant to enhance psychological and physical well-being.” But it is so much more than that. It’s smelling a rose bush in your garden and feeling at ease. It’s burning sugar cookie candles and relaxing at the fragrance. It’s inhaling the smell of a strawberry lotion as you rub it on your arms and feeling happy and calm.
However, the way this blog is going to approach Aromatherapy is as an alternative medicine. Specifically, the use of Essential Oils.
